Racism, Roseanne and Social Politics

ABC is axing the hit-comedy “Roseanne”over the TV star’s racist tweets. The network canceled its top-rated prime time show after Roseanne Barr compared former Obama adviser Valerie Jarrett to an ape.  This comes amid a wave of issues about race over the past few weeks, including, the Starbucks arrest and the NFL National Anthem protests.
