A Touch of Jazz

We are picking up our musical instruments heading over to the Mid-Atlantic Jazz Festival this morning on Taking It to the Streets.  That’s right, the festival kicks off this weekend at the Hilton Rockville and it features some of the best musicians in the DMV and across the country.  Joining me this morning to give us a rundown of the event is Paul Carr – Executive Director of the Mid-Atlantic Jazz Festival.

Mid-Atlantic Jazz Festival is February 16th – 18th at the Hilton Rockville.  The mission of the festival is to assist emerging jazz artists in their educational and artistic development, offer a wider base for the presentation of jazz, and insure the continuation of jazz education and performance in public schools and institutions of higher learning.  For more information go here:

Tune in to Taking it to the Streets, weekday mornings at 6:15, 7:08 and 8:35 on the Steve Harvey Morning Show on 96.3 WHUR.
