Addressing The Growing Issue of Domestic Abuse

Getting to a better you.  That’s the goal of a program taking place this weekend in the District designed to address the growing issue of domestic violence.  The L.M. Foundation is hosting a benefit concert this Saturday to help families of domestic abuse rebuild their lives.  I have the founder the organization Pamela Price with me who has all the details.

The L.M. Foundation is hosting a benefit concert entitled “Aspiring 2B A Better Me” Saturday, May 6th @ 6pm at Nineteenth Street Baptist Church at 4606 16th Street, NW.  The concert will feature Grammy Award Winner Yolanda Adams.  Tickets can be purchased here

Tune in to Taking it to the Streets, weekdays at 6:46, 7:13 and 8:13 on the Steve Harvey Morning Show on 96.3 WHUR.
