Celebrating the Contributions of African-Americans for Black History Month

Celebrating the heritage, culture, and contributions of African Americans.  That’s the rich purpose and tradition behind Black History Month.  Every Tuesday in February we are going to spotlight some of the many programs taking place to help us honor Black History.  This morning we’re highlighting the Joint Base Myer-Henderson Hall Gospel Service Keeper of the Community Award Celebration.  My guest is Edgar Brookings Chair of the Black History Month Planning Committee.

Joint Base Myer-Henderson Hall Gospel Service Keeper of the Community Award Celebration is Saturday, February 10th @ 1pm at Memorial Chapel – 101 McNair Road Fort Myer, Virginia.  For more information email:  ebrookins47@gmail.com
