DC Emancipation Day Festivities, Carl Thomas at the Howard Theatre and a Community Wealth Building Day


  • Tonight Carl Thomas performs at the Legendary Howard Theatre, doors open at 6, show time is 8pm. Also Meli’sa Morgan takes the stage Saturday night for an 8pm show.
  • The Tony Award Winning Musical “Ragtime” is at the Ford’s Theater thru May 20th, show times are 7:30pm.
  • The critically acclaimed Tony Award Winning production, “Chicago” is at the Kennedy Center running through April 16th and features R&B singer Brandy. Show times are 7:30 and 1:30 matinee’s.
  • The Howard University College of Dentistry is hosting it’s 10th Annual Oral Cancer Walk this Saturday from 9am – 3pm at the Howard University College of Dentistry 600 W St. NW
