Helping Non-Profits in the Washington Area

There are 24 hours in a day and my guest today says you can take one day this week to really be a powerful force in our community by helping non-profits.   The campaign is called Do More 24 and joining me this morning in studio to tell us all about it is Rosie Allen-Herring – President and Chief Executive Officer for the United Way of the National Capital Area. 

Do More 24 is a day of giving and is the region’s largest online giving ay powered by the Unite Way of the National Capital Area.  Do More 24 is May 18thand is expected to raise more than $2 million dollars for the 600-plus non-profits in the Washington Area.  For more information go here:
