Here’s What’s Happening on The First Weekend of Spring

WEEKEND HAPS UPDATE:

 

  • Join our very own Angela Stribling this Saturday at Old Glory Harley-Davidson in Laurel for their 2018 Spring Fashion Kickoff. It all kicks off at 11:30 and the fashion show starts at 1pm. Also go to com for details on how to win a $300 HD Swag Prize Pack.

 

  • The Capital Comedy Festival comes to DAR Constitution Hall Friday night, featuring our very own George Wilborn, along with Sommore, George Wallace, Tommy Davidson, Arnez J, and Don DC Curry. Show time is 7pm.

 

  • The Tony Award Winning Musical, “The Wiz” is playing at the Ford’s Theatre,  running through May 12th.

 

  • Gerald Albright is at Blues Alley tonight, tomorrow and Sunday. Show times are 8 & 10pm.

 

  • Bethesda Blues & Jazz Supper Club presents Ronnie Laws tonight for an 8pm show. On Saturday night it’s Be’la Dona’s Spring Jam, 8pm and then Norman Connors performs for Sunday Brunch, that’s at 1pm.

 

  • TheMarch for Our Lives will take place at 12 p.m. this Saturday in Washington, DC on Pennsylvania Avenue between 3rd and 12th Streets NW. According to a permit filed with the National Park Service, the march will include “student speakers, musical performers, guest speakers and video tributes,” and up to 500,000 people are expected to attend.
