It’s Domestic Violence Awareness Month

October is Domestic Violence Awareness Month and Prince George’s County Sheriff’s Department is launching it’s Purple Light Nights ceremony this evening at 6:30 at the Family Justice Center in Upper Marlboro, Md.  This initiative is designed to bring the community together to fight domestic violence.

My guest, Melvin High, the Prince George’s County Sheriff talks about the importance of community involvement as a way to bring awareness and an end to domestic violence.
