It’s National Sickle Cell Awareness Month

September is National Sickle Cell Awareness Month and joining me this morning to talk about the call to action is Barbara Harrison – Director of Community Outreach. 

September is National Sickle Cell Awareness Month and the Howard University Center for Sickle Cell has a host of activities planned to help heightened awareness about the disease, including Sickle Cell Awareness Event and Candlelight Vigil Friday, September 8th at Howard University Hospital.
