Preparing the DC Community for The Winter Months Ahead

Old Man Winter is around the corner and that typically can spell higher utility bills.  The DC Public Service Commission is hosting a conference this week for community and non-profit leaders to get them winter ready.  Joining me this morning with the details is Betty Ann Kane – Chair of the DC Public Service Commission.

DC Public Service Commission is hosting Winter Ready DC a day-long conference to educate community and non-profit leaders to learn how to help their community with utility related resources like customer assistance programs, avoiding high utility bills, and handling disconnections.  The event is Thursday, October 12th 9:30am to 1pm at 1325 G Street, NW Suite 800.
