Sounds Like Washington Live, Anthony David and Chris Brown Headline This Weekends Events

WEEKEND HAPS UPDATE:

 

  • It’s the first “Sounds Like Washington”Live event tonight at The City Wineryfeaturing Gallant, Michelle Blackwelland a surprise special guest. Congrats to all our winners and we look forward to seeing you tonight.  Doors open at 6 and the show kicks off at 8, so get there early.

 

  • The City Winery presents Anthony DavidSaturday night then on Sunday, it’s “The Rebirth of Soul”Tour with Syleena Johnson. Both shows have an 8pm start.

 

  • Chris Brown is performing at Jiffy Lube Livetonight for his “Heartbreak On A Full Moon” The show kicks off at 7pm.

 

  • Melanie Fiona is at the BirchmereSaturday night and then on Sunday the one and only Michael Hendersontakes to the stage. Both shows kick off at 7:30pm.

 

  • Philly Soul Legend Jean Carneis performing at Blues Alley, tonight through Sunday, for two shows each night 8pm and 10pm.

 

  • Ain’t Too Proud – The Life and Times of the Temptationsis at the Kennedy Centerrunning through July 22nd. More information at kennedy-center.org

 

  • Watching Oprah:The Oprah Winfrey Show and American Culture’
    One of the leading figures in modern media, Oprah Winfrey, serves as the subject of this exciting new exhibit at the National Museum of African American History and CultureWatching Oprah, which runs  through June of 2019, will explore the entertainer’s early life, her wildly successful daytime talk show and her powerful influence on popular culture.
