Supporting and Empowering Our Young Women

It’s often said that Girls’ just want to have fun.  My guest this morning is providing a fun night for the ladies with a purpose.  It’s called the Girls’ Night Out and joining with more on their mission is the founder and a familiar voice and face in the DMV – local news anchor Shawn Yancy.

The 10thGirls Nigh Show is Saturday, June 23rdfrom 5 to 9pm at the Katzen Arts Center at American University in NW.  The event is a fundraiser to benefit charities that support and empower women and children.  This year’s benefactor is the Recreation Wish List Committee is SE.
