The Girl Scouts Are More Than Just About Selling Cookies

The Girl Scouts is about far more than just selling cookies and today I have the Girl Scouts of Central Maryland with me to talk about a milestone program that designed to keep daughters of incarcerated moms connected. It’s called Girl Scouts Beyond Bars. Danita Terry is the Director of Marketing and Communications for Girl Scouts of Central Maryland.

Girl Scouts of Central Maryland has an exciting program and partnership with the National Institute of Justice.  It’s called Girl Scouts Beyond Bars and the goal is to support the daughters of incarcerated women. More information here:
