The United Way, Helping The Homeless

The United Way of the National Capital Area is looking for a few good men and women who are willing to roll up their sleeves and help those who have no place to call home. United Way is gearing up for its 4thannual Project Homeless Connect, a huge event to pair the needy with wrap around services.  Joining me this morning with the details isTimothy Johnson – Vice President of Community Impact for the United Way of the National Capital Area

 The United Way NCA’s 4th Annual Project Homeless is Sept. 20th from 9am to 5pm at the DC Armory. Project Homeless Connect (PHC) brings together essential services at the area’s largest resource fair to meet the needs of our neighbors who are experiencing homelessness.  Volunteer are needed. To sign up, volunteers can go to volunteer.unitedwaynca.org.  For more information, please contact: volunteer@uwnca.org.
