There Are Some Great Halloween Festivities Kicking Off This Weekend



  • At the Howard Theatre, Eric Roberson performs this Friday and Saturday, both shows start at 8pm. Then on Sunday, you can check out Bootsy Collins for his Funkiest Halloween Album Release Party, featuring the Clones of Funk. The party kicks off at 8pm.


  • On Saturday it’s “Nightmare in the DMV Part IV” – it’s the Haunted Hotel Halloween Party at the Crystal City Hilton 2399 Jefferson Davis Hwy, Arlington, VA,  performing will be, “We The Fix”.  The party starts at 8pm-2am.


  • The stage play “Intimate Apparel” is at the Everyman Theater in Baltimore, running through November 19th. For ticket information go here:


  • On Saturday – Nightmare on M Street
    Get ready for a roaming costume party that is a monster mash of epic proportions. You and your friends can get decked out and cruise to different bars throughout the Dupont Circleneighborhood during the Nightmare on M Street this Saturday. There will be food and drink specials at each stop along the way. Now in its 19th year, the station-to-station Halloween bonanza is sure to be far from a nightmare.

  • On Saturday – Night of the Living Zoo
    The National Zoo’s 21-and-over complement to Boo at the Zoo, Night of the Living Zoo transforms the animal haven into a devil’s playground. You’ll have after-hours access to numerous Zoo attractions while enjoying live entertainment, including an unforgettable costume contest and fascinating performance artists. Enjoy grub from local food trucks and craft brews as well.
