This Morning on Taking it to the Streets

James GordonThis morning on “Taking it to the Streets” my guest will be James Gordon, the spokesperson for the National Museum of African American History and Culture. 

The Smithsonian’s National Museum of African American History and Culture are calling on people to find items tucked away in the spirit of preservation during their “Save Our Treasure Event.” WHUR’s very own Harold Fisher will be hosting the event. It will take place at the Carnegie Library on Saturday November 8th and Sunday November 9th. Its located at 801 K Street NW in Washington DC.  The Museum is expected to open in the Spring of 2016.  For more information log onto www.newsdesk.si.edu
