  • James GordonThe Smithsonian’s National Museum of African American History and Culture along with the Historical Society of Washington, D.C present “Save Our African American Treasures” at the Historical Society of Washington D.C at 801 K street, NW Saturday from 10am to 5pm and Sunday from noon until 5pm.  You can come out and bring up to 3 objects and get a one on one consultation with an expert to determine if your item has any monetary values. WHUR’s Harold Fisher of the Daily Drum will be there from noon to 2 Saturday. You can also attend presentations and speak with professional conservators. This event is free so take advantage.
  • The 3rd Annual Women Veterans and Women in the Military Veterans Ginger MillerDay Weekend Extravaganza, is a 3-day event that will be hosted by Women Veterans Interactive. Many celebrities are expected to be showcased at this educational and empowering extravaganza. This event is scheduled to happen from November 9th to November 11th at the National Harbor.   • Sunday night Mr. Stevie Wonder will be at the Verizon Center for it Washington DC stop on the “ Songs in the Key of Life” tour.  He will be performing all the classic hit from is 1976 album including “As,” “Isn’t She Lovely,” “I Wish,” “Sir Duke.” and “Knocks Me off My Feet.” Doors open at 7pm and the show start at 8pm.
