This Morning on Taking it to the Streets

This morning on “Taking it to the Streets” my guest will be Alphonso Gibbs – Program Manager for “Rays of Hope”

Losing a loved one can be one of the most challenging times of our lives. Learning to cope through that grief, may sometimes require help. Today, I have information on a program that’s helping families who have experienced the death of a loved one tragically. It’s called “Rays of Hope.”  “Rays of Hope” is a Strengthening Family Coping Resources support group for families who have experienced the death of a loved one tragically. They will be hosting an orientation for families on Wednesday, March 18th from 6pm to 8pm at the Suitland Community Center in District Heights. Roberta’s House in partnership with the University of Maryland Baltimore is conducting this free support group. www.robertashouse.org
