• Tonight, the Future Leaders & Young Entrepreneurs (FLYE) is hosting their annual student athlete elevator pitch competition at Eleanor Roosevelt High School in Greenbelt Md at 6pm. • Now “Step Afrika” celebrates 20 years of stepping all over the world with their Home Performance Series right here on the campus of Howard University taking place at the Ira Aldridge Theatre. There will be only 5 shows, starting tonight and running through Sunday, so get your tickets today.

• Now, tomorrow night, head down to the Verizon Center for a night of laughter as the “Black And Brown Comedy Get Down” tour hits the DMV. The show features, Cedric ‘The Entertainer’, Eddie Griffin, D.L. Hughley, George Lopez, Mike Epps and Charlie Murphy. Show starts at 8pm and ticketmaster has a few tickets left so get yours today.

• Also, this Friday is the start of the “23rd Annual Capital Jazz Fest”. This years line up included Maze featuring Frankie Beverly, India Arie, Boney James, Roy Ayers, Chrisette Michele, Deborah Cox, Kenny G and more. So from Friday to Sunday you can pick a day and go out the Merriweather Post Pavilion and enjoy some great music.
