• The “Music at the Monument” Summer Concert Series continues tomorrow on the grounds of the Washington Monument at the Sylvan Theatre. Performances by Hip Hop Artist Toni Hickman, Jazz musician Mark Meadows and DC’s own Sylver Logan Sharp. So come out celebrate our Veterans, It all kicks off at 4pm. More info at WHUR.com

• This weekend is the 2015 Ubiquitous Hair and Health trade show, where relaxed meets natural hair, is taking place at the Washington Convention Center, Saturday from 11am to 7pm and on Sunday from 11am-6pm. Chante Moore and Kim Kimble will be there as well as musical performances by Ledisi, Maurette Brown Clarke and a host of others. There will be giveaways, makeovers and interactive panel discussions. So come out and meet our very own Angela Stribling.

• Also this weekend, R&B singer/songwriter Tamia will be at the Howard Theater Saturday and Sunday in celebration of her new album “Love Life”. Show times are at 8pm both nights
