This morning on Taking it to the Streets

This morning  on “Taking it to the Streets” my special guest will be Dr. Johnnetta Cole – Director of the Smithsonian National Museum of African Art  

The Smithsonian National Museum of African Art is celebrating their 50 years of existence this year. This one-day celebration is happening on Tuesday, June 3rd, and includes stilt walking, drummers, dancers, music, and a whole lot more. The celebration will take place at the Smithsonian National Museum of African Art, located at 950 Independence Avenue SW, Washington DC, from noon to 5:00pm.
