• The 2015 Annual Legislative Conference of the Congressional Black Caucus kicked of yesterday with this year’s theme is “With Liberty and Justice for all?” Our owe Mo Ivory will be on the Reversing the School to Prison Pipeline for African Americans and Minorities panel Friday ay 9am. • If you are looking for some Adult fun, you can come hang out the Triscina Grey tonight for and special Congressional Black Caucus “After Work Black Caucus Jam” at the Lounge at Colony South at 7401 Surratt Road at route 5 in Clinton Maryland. The party starts at 6pm you can enjoy live entertainment, drink specials, and bar bites.

• The AT&T Nations Football Classic will kick off today with the AT&T Kickoff Rally tonight at 7pm at Howard University with a performance by Monica. Big game Friday starts off with the Pepsi Fan Festival at 4 in parking lot 8 of RKF Stadium. Come enjoy games, food, sponsor activations, and performances by Tank and 2 Chainz. The game between Hampton and Howard starts at 7pm.

Bethesda Blues and Jazz Supper Club will be rocking for the next two nights. Starting with Soul Sessions featuring Algebra Blessett tonight at 8pm and tomorrow Marcus Johnson will keep the party going with a concert starting at 8pm.

• Saturday, is the annual Bluebird Blues Festival at Prince George’s Community College from 11- 6pm. The festival features live performances, food and craft vendors. So bring your lawn chair and enjoy the great afternoon of blues.

• You are invited to a special advance screening at Crampton Auditorium on the campus of Howard University of “Empire” Season 2 episode 1. That’s this Saturday at 5pm and it free on a first come basis. So bring your whole crew and see what has been going on with the Lyons family.
