This Morning on Taking it to The Streets

March is Women’s History Month and today on Taking It to the Streets we spotlight an organization working to assist women and minority farmers. My guest this morning is the Director of the National Women In Agriculture Association, Dr. Tammy Gray-Steele joins me to give us all the details.

The National Women In Agriculture Association will be going to Capitol Hill to lobby lawmakers and to educate black women farmers/agriculturist and youth about the importance of sustainable and healthy food. The two-day conference will be held Thursday, March 24th at the US Capitol and then on Friday, March 25th the organization will be at the USDA for a conference. For details, visit www.nwiaa.org
