Weekend Haps Update:

  • The Patti Labelle concert that was scheduled for tonight and tomorrow at Strathmore has been rescheduled, the new dates are Thursday, June 30th and Friday, July 1st.  All previously purchased tickets will be valid for these dates
  • Saturday Katt Williams will be at the Verizon center for is DC stop on his Conspiracy Theory Tour. Show is at 8pm and there are a few tickets left so get yours today.
  • Also on Saturday Syleena Johnson will be at Bethesda Blues and Jazz Supper Club for two shows one a 7pm and another at 10pm.
  • Sunday enjoy a Jazz Brunch featuring Marcus Johnson at the Howard theatre starting at 1:30.
  • Branford Marsalis will be in concert at the Birchmere this Sunday for a 7:30 show.
  • Align Staffing is currently looking for qualified Registered Nurses and Certified Nursing Assistant to staff       top leading hospitals within the Baltimore Area. Now this       job fair today from 10 to 2pm at the Baltimore Marriott Inner Harbor at Camden Yards.
  • If you’ve thought about a career in public service, well the Fairfax County Fire and Rescue department’s annual application process is still open through tomorrow April 8th,       so go to the Fairfax County Fire and Rescue website to get more information and to apply.
  • Now if you’ve been thinking about heading back to college to get that degree, then check out the 2nd Annual Adult College Completion Fair will take place this Saturday from 10 -2 pm at One Judiciary Square.
  • The Howard University’s Theatre department is presenting it’s Spring Dance Concert titled “Drift”. A presentation of Modern, Jazz, Ballet, Hip Hop and African dance styles and it’s all happening this Friday at the Ira Aldridge Theatre.
  • Amy Schume will bring her brand of stand up the SECU Arena at Towson University this Sunday for a 7pm show.
  • Earth Wind And Fire and Chicago will be at the Royal Farms Arena Tuesday at 7:30pm for their Heart and Soul Tour 2.0.
