  • The DC Career Fair is taking place today at the Doubletree Crystal City in Arlington, VA today from 11am – 2pm. Bring your resumes and dress to impres as you will meet and interview with the hiring decision makers from a variety of companies.
  • The St. Jude Community Development Corporation is hosting their benefit concert at Howard University’s Campton Auditorium featuring The Northeast School of Performing Arts Group and Award Winning Violinist Damien Escobar from 6-8pm. More information is at www.stjudecdc.org
  • Lets get healthy……..On Saturday, Howard University’s Department of Community and Family Medicine will be hosting their “Step for Your Health Walking Groups”. It all kicks off at 8am at the Benjamin Banneker Community Center on Georgia Ave. More information at huhealthcare.com
  • The legendary group, The Average white band will be at the Birchmere Friday and Saturday. Both shows start at 7:30 and you want to get there early to get a good seat.
  • Rod Man will be at the DC Improv all weekend with shows starting at 7:30 and 9:45. Rod Man is the winner of “last Comic Standing” Season 8 and you have to see this man in action.
  • Omar Sosa will be at AMP by Strathmore on Saturday 16th at 8pm. Come out and check out some great Afro-Cuban Jazz.
  • Also this weekend starting on Saturday The National Park Service’s kicks off “National Parks Week so all national Parks in the area are free to enter. So bring the family out for a great time.
  • Tower Of Power will be at Birchmere on Tuesday for a great night of music. Show starts at 7:30.
