  • Tonight enjoy Estelle with special guest band Familiar Faces at Bethesda Blues and Jazz Supper Club at 8pm
  • It’s that time of year again. It’s time for Darryl Haley’s Music at the Monument at the Sylvan theatre on the monument ground. Tomorrow is the opening day and Phil French, The Groove Spot Project and Angela Blair will be there. So come on out tomorrow from 5pm-8pm and enjoy the show
  • Anthony Hamilton and Fantasia will be at D.A.R Constitution Hall tomorrow and Saturday at 8pm both nights.
  • Saturday the DC Funk Parade will be on U st from 16th street to 7th street, there will be tons of entertainment to enjoy. The events start 12 with day fair events and day parties, The Music Fest start at 7pm and last until 10. For a full list of events and activist visit www funk parade dot com
  • If you’re looking for some laughs Saturday the LOL Comedy Show starring Marlon Waynes, Deray Davis, Lil Duval and Red Grant at the Meyerhof Symphony Hall in Baltimore at 8pm.
  • Also, on Saturday The Royal Comedy tour will be stopping in Baltimore at the Royal Farm Arena with guest comedians Sommore, Earthquake, Gary Owen and Arnez J. the laughs start at 8pm.
  • Saturday and Sunday the new hit stage play comes to the Warner Theater, “Flow Hip Hop and the Church” starring Al B Sure, Angie Stone and Peter Gunz from Love and hip-hop. Now you have to check out this story of a hip hop artist that struggles with his career and his faith.
  • Sunday you can enjoy a Mother’s Day concert with Mother’s Finest at the Birchmere in Virginia. Show time is at 7:30pm
  • There will be a Mother’s Day Celebration” at the Royal Farms in Baltimore. Stephanie Mills, Marvin Sapp, Erica Campbell, Travis Greene and Tasha Cobbs will all be performing starting at 5pm.
