Father’s Day Weekend Haps

  • Darryl Haley is back with Music at the Monument at the Sylvan Theatre fro his Healthy parks healthy people initiative. This Friday features, DK’s Wolf Band, The Groove Spot Band and Show and Delegation Music will all take the stage from 5pm to 8pm.
  • Maysa is performing at the Birchmere tomorrow for a 7:30 show.
  • Miki Howard will be at the Bethesda Blues and Jazz Supper Club Friday night, doors open at 6pm, show time is at 8pm.
  • Sunday after church you can see Kirk Franklin at the Modell Performing Arts Center at the Lyric in Baltimore for his last local stop on his “20 Years in One night” Tour.
  • ScholarChips is holding its 5th Annual Awards Ceremony Saturday, June 18th from 1pm to 3pm at Gibson, Dunn, and Crutches, LLP offices at 1050 Connecticut Avenue, NW DC. scholarschipsfund.org
