  • Tomorrow Lyfe Jennings will be at the Howard Theater with an after party with Familiar Faces and on Saturday De La Soul will be at the Howard Theater.
  •  Project Aloe is inviting college-bound women to attend their “P.A. Cares Send-Off “ event.  Women attending this event will not only receive a care package, but will also enjoy a day of pampering, networking, and mentoring. The event will take place on Saturday, July 19th, from 4-6pm, at the Maisie Dunbar Spa Lounge.  It is located at 8711 1st Avenue, Silver Spring, in Maryland.
  •  Sunday is the 3rd Annual WHUR Summer Hand dance; Steppers and Line Dance cruise on the Spirit of Washington with Mr. C of the Time tunnel.  This year R&B artists Shaliek who will perform his hit “Ain’t Supposed to Cry” and Cupid of the Cupid Shuffle will be on board. Enjoy the pro hand dance and steppers showcase, food, prizes and more.
  • Also on Sunday, New Edition and Salt And Pepa with be at the Verizon Center for a great concert.
  •  And don’t forget Disney’s, The Lion King, is at the Kennedy Center now through August 17.  A great show for the entire family
