2018 Golden Globe Highlights

Even if you missed Sunday night’s Golden Globes you know Oprah Winfrey stole the evening by delivering an epic acceptance speech after being honored with the Cecil B. DeMille Award, making her the first black woman ever to receive the honor.

WATCH her entire speech below:

Sterling K. Brown made history winning the Best Performance by an Actor in a Television Series Award for NBC’s This Is Us. He is the first black actor to receive that honor.

Another great moment to watch was when The Rock introduced the Golden Globes’ first ambassador, his daughter Simone Johnson.

There were other great moments that took place including “all black er’thing” on the red carpet. Attendees made a statement by deciding to wear all black to make a statement against the epidemic of sexual harassment in the entertainment industry and beyond. Here are a few of our favorite all-black red carpet looks.
