Bill Cosby To Appear In Court For Sentencing; Facing Up To 10 Years For Each Conviction

Bill Cosby is scheduled to appear in a Pennsylvania court Monday morning to be sentenced for his sexual assault and drugging conviction. The 81-year-old could face up to 10 years for each conviction but the his defense team will most likely request a lesser sentence. His hearing is scheduled to begin at 9 a.m.

Judge Steven T. O’Neill will also determine whether Cosby should be classified as a sexually violent predator. If determined he is a sexual violent predator, the comedian must register as such for the remainder of his life.

The retired comedian was convicted of drugging and sexually assaulting Andrea Constand in the couple’s estate in Cheltenham, Pennsylvania. Cosby has been confined to house arrest since his conviction.
