Carmelo Anthony Helped Bus 4,500 Kids From Baltimore To D.C.’s March For Our Lives

Carmelo Anthony teamed up with the city of Baltimore, NAACP and MTV to bus 4,500 kids from Baltimore to last weekend’s March For Our Lives march in Washington, D.C. They provided nearly 90 buses to get the children there. The NBA player moved to Baltimore as a kid and that has become home.

“To see the impact that the youth have right now, it’s a special moment,” said Anthony. “Especially for me and everybody to see how powerful the youth are right now, and the voices being heard, that’s the most important part.”

It’s estimated that more than 850,000 people took to the streets of D.C. in support of the march Saturday.

Great job Carmelo Anthony!
