After a standoff with police that lasted several hours at the singer’s Los Angeles home Tuesday, Chris Brown was arrested on suspicion of assault with a deadly weapon. Brown’s attorney Mark Geragos tweeted Brown had been released from jail. Official documents state Brown was released on $250,000 bail.

Once police obtained a search warrant they entered Brown’s residence and interviewed a number of people found in the home. Brown was said to have been fully cooperative with police.
