Chris Brown Released From Jail on Suspicion of Assault With a Deadly Weapon

After a standoff with police that lasted several hours at the singer’s Los Angeles home Tuesday, Chris Brown was arrested on suspicion of assault with a deadly weapon. Brown’s attorney Mark Geragos tweeted Brown had been released from jail. Official documents state Brown was released on $250,000 bail.

Once police obtained a search warrant they entered Brown’s residence and interviewed a number of people found in the home. Brown was said to have been fully cooperative with police. As previously reported, Baylee Curran alleged Brown pulled a gun out on her after she admired some jewelry while in the singer’s home.

No further details have been released at this time.
