Comey To Testify Publicly About Trump Confrontations

Fired FBI director James Comey intends to testify publicly next week to confirm accusations that Donald Trump pressured him to end his investigation into a top Trump aide’s ties to Russia, CNN reports.

Details are currently being worked out and are scarce at the moment but a trusted, secret source is providing CNN with information.

Comey is expected to appear before the Senate Intelligence Committee, which is investigating possible connections between the Trump campaign and Russia during last year’s presidential election.

Comey is alleging tense interactions with Trump, regarding to Russia probe, lead to his firing. Robert Mueller III has since been appointed as a special counsel in the Russia investigation.
