It’s Official! ‘Coming To America’ Sequel Coming Soon!

The wait is over. Eddie Murphy has confirmed a sequel for “Coming to America” is in the works. If you recall, a few weeks ago Eddie Murphy posted a tweet eluding to the idea of a sequel and as soon as it appeared, it was deleted.

Reportedly, Paramount Pictures is currently working on a sequel and the film’s original writers will write the script. TheJasmineBrand.com reports Barry Blaustein and David Sheffield will write the sequel. At this time no director has been confirmed and details are scarce.
