Former Apprentice contestant Omarosa Manigault has been named Republican Presidential Nominee Donald Trump‘s head of African-American outreach. The Republican National Convention kicked off Monday and it’s reported that Trump has just one percent of the African-American vote.
“I am the director of African-American outreach for Donald Trump,” Manigault, 42, confirmed in an MSNBC interview Monday. “I am proud to serve in that role. It is a very difficult time for our country, but the good thing I know is that I know Donald Trump at his heart … and I know what he can do in that role.”
Omarosa went on to say,
“Donald Trump is focused on improving the conditions of African-Americans in this country.”
