‘Hamilton’ Coming To Kennedy Center For 14 Weeks Next Year

The Tony Award winning musical “Hamilton” will run at the Kennedy Center for 14 weeks, but the Washington premiere of the popular musical will not begin until 2018.

The national tour of “Hamilton” will play at the Kennedy Center Opera House is set to run from June 12, 2018 until September 16, 2018. There has been no announcement regarding when tickets will go on sale.

“The Humans,” “The Color Purple,” “On Your Feet,” “An American in Paris” and “The Book of Mormon” will also be a part of the 2017-2018 season.

“Hamilton,” which centers around the life of founding father Alexander Hamilton, made history earlier this month when it earned a record 16 Tony nominations and has also won a Pulitzer Prize for drama.
