Kevin Durant Donates Over $50K for PG County Basketball Courts

Golden State Warriors forward and hometown hero Kevin Durant just made a significant donation of over $50,000 for new outdoor basketball courts at Seat Pleasant Activity Center. A ceremony to unveil the courts took place earlier this week.

Durant perfected his game on the same courts as a child. He would sleep behind the curtain in the gym because he wanted to spend extra time playing basketball and didn’t want to go home.

Durant’s foundation and Nike teamed up to give the outdoor basketball courts a much needed facelift. The project started in April of last year.

Great job KD! Thanks for giving back to the kids.
