LL Cool J also went to twitter to show disgust for people exploiting Maia Campbell on social media.

“Instead of pulling out your phone and filming someone who’s obviously having trouble. Maybe lend a helping hand? A kind word? @MaiaCampbell,” he tweeted.

A friend of Campbell’s later posted a video of Maia responding to LL Cool J’s offer to help. In the video she responds by saying, “don’t call me, I’ll call you.”
