Mary J. Blige Ordered To Pay $30K A Month In Temporary Spousal Support

Mary J. Blige has been ordered to pay her estranged husband Martin “Kendu” Isaacs $30,000 a month in temporary spousal support. Isaacs originally requested $130,000 a month.

The singer filed for divorce in July of last year after 12 years of marriage. Blige failed to make her case to the judge that their prenuptial agreement waived any spousal support. The 46-year-old singer claimed Isaacs spent more than $420,000 during an extramarital affair. Blige claims Isaacs refuses to hand over her “Grammy and other achievement awards.”

The singer says she has been left with $10,000,000 in debt, due to her estranged husband, and was the breadwinner of the household.

The former couple did not have children together but she was a stepmother to Isaacs’ three children from a prior relationship.
