Actor Pooch Hall could face jail time for allegedly driving under the influence with his child. Earlier this month news spread that Hall was spotted driving drunk with his two-year-old son behind the wheel.

According to People Magazine, the Burbank Police were called after the actor crashed into a parked vehicle. Witnesses said that they saw a man ‘weaving in and out of traffic’ with a small child on his lap. One witness even reported seeing a child’s hands on the steering wheel. Fortunately, neither Hall nor his child were injured from the accident.

Since his release from jail on the 4th, Hall has been formally charged with a DUI and felony child abuse by the Los Angeles County District Attorney.

Sources told People Magazine that on the day of the incident, Hall displayed signs of intoxication and couldn’t complete the sobriety tests given.

“Mr. Hall displayed obvious signs of alcohol intoxication and was unable to perform standardized field sobriety tests.”

The source went on to say, “Mr. Hall’s 2-year-old son was riding in the car with him at the time of the collision and was determined to have been riding in the vehicle unrestrained, as required by law.”

Police stated that Hall was driving with a 0.08 percent blood alcohol content which is considered legally impaired within the United States.

Hall is scheduled for a court appearance today and could face up to six years behind bars if convicted.

His son is currently in the custody of the actor’s wife and the case is still being investigated by the Burbank Police Department.

As for comments from the actor on the incident, Hall has remained silent even on social media as neither is Instagram nor Twitter have been updated since his arrest, as reported by Essence.

Pooch Hall has been seen on the big screen in hit TV shows like The Game and Ray Donovan, which is currently in its’ 6th season.
