The Obamas Go Water Rafting In Bali

President Barack Obama and his family were spotted rafting in Bali earlier this week.

The Obamas plan to spend nine days vacationing in Indonesia, visiting areas the former president spent as a child.

The former first family was invited to visit the presidential Bogor Palace in West Java during their trip. According to ABC News, Obama has also agreed to speak to the Indonesian Diaspora Congress in Jakarta later this week.

In 1967, Obama moved to Indonesia at the age of 6, when his mother remarried an Indonesian man. Years after the marriage ended, Obama moved back to Hawaii to live with his grandparents.

The Associated Press reports that President Obama, his wife Michelle, daughters Sasha and Malia as well as his half-sister Maya Soetoro-Ng will continue their vacation by visiting the ancient city of Yogyakart, and Borobudar, a Buddhist temple complex.
