Regina King and Tisha Campbell-Martin will take on a new role as two of five sisters who serve as officers for the NYPD. The untitled series, which is based on a true story about the Holmes sisters will focus on the lives of five sisters as they juggle high-risk jobs, marriage, motherhood and family.

King will not only be starring in the show but will also serve as a director and producer alongside Pam Veasey and Robin Roberts, who interviewed the Holmes sisters on ‘Good Morning America’ in 2016.

Frances Turner of “The Gifted”, Aubin Wise of “Atlanta” and Leigh-Ann Rose of “Love Thy Neighbor” are also set to star in the drama pilot.

Campbell will play Sergeant Anise Kendrick-Morrison, “a witty, tough and outspoken Patrol Officer with a sharp sense of humor. She is immensely proud of her family, especially four sisters who are all in the NYPD.”

The untitled show has no release date as of yet.
