Travel Warning Issued For Portions Of Zika-Stricken Miami

Last Friday health officials announced four cases of the Zika virus being transmitted by mosquitoes here in the US, specifically Florida. Monday, ten more cases were made public. As a result, pregnant women have been advised to avoid parts of Miami. Of the 14 cases, two women were infected and 12 men were also infected.

The health department located in Miami-Dade and Broward counties are being proactive by testing all pregnant patients. The CDC is aiding in investigating the outbreak. For more on this developing story, see here.
