Trump Continues To Delegitimize His Presidency

The New York Daily News revealed its Friday cover — a bald eagle, head hanging down as if in shame, with “humiliation” in capital letters.

The cover follows another not-so-good day for Donald Trump. Thursday the nation’s commander-in-chief faced a ton of criticism following vicious tweets spewed from his account attacking MSNBC television anchor Mika Brzezinski.

Rep. Brenda Lawrence spoke out Thursday against Trump’s mockery of the office. “You do not have the right because you have a Twitter account to display behavior that I taught my son never to do.”

Such antics as Trump’s latest lapse in judgement adds more to the fire brewing over Americans’ confidence in Trump’s presidency. Major news outlets report his tweet outraged political leaders in Washington.

Paul Ryan, clearly disturbed, had this to say when asked about Trump’s tweets at a press conference Thursday. “Obviously, I don’t see that as an appropriate comment.”

Just a few days ahead of America’s birthday and Americans are ashamed of Trump’s behavior, yet again.
