There is now a huge $169 thousand dollar reward being offered for information that leads to an arrest in the murder of a Baltimore police detective. 43-year-old Sean Suiter died a day after being shot in the head on the West side. The DC native leaves behind a wife and 5 children.

Homeland Security Official Jamie Johnson has resigned. He did so hours after CNN
reported his 2008 comments attributing US slums to the “Laziness, drug use and
sexual promiscuity” of black people. The comments were made during an interview with Accent Radio Network. Johnson said he no longer agrees with his previous comments.

The Senate Finance Committee Ok’s new tax reform bill…

The Senate Finance Committee narrowly approved a tax reform bill of their own. The vote means the bill will be moved to the full Senate floor, it’s fate there is unclear because it includes removing an individual mandate in Obamacare.
