Accused Bombing Suspect Found…

The man wanted in bombings in New York & New Jersey has been captured…

CNN is reporting they have captured 28 year old Ah-mad Khan Rahami following a shoot out with police in Linden, New Jersey. One officer was injured. Rahami is wanted for the bombings over the weekend in New Jersey and New York.

President Obama assures Americans we must be vigilant …

From New York City, President Obama held a press conference this morning regarding the bombings in New York, New Jersey and the stabbing in Minnesota. The President asked the media not to rush to make unconfirmed statements before it confirmed by the FBI or local and national law enforcement. He sent his condolences to those injured during the attacks and he praised first responders. The President confirmed that the FBI is investigating the stabbing’s in Minnesota as a possible act of terrorism. The gunman was killed by a off duty police officer.

Gunmen who shot 9 people, 2 fatal in S.E. remain on the loose…

Police are still looking for the gunmen who opened fired on a group gathered for a community event in S.E. on Saturday. 9 people were shot and 2 were killed following some type of dispute. The victims have been identified as 18 year old Zoraun Harris and 31 year old Scorpio Alonzo Phillips.

The Prince George’s County Council’s hearing into the status of the county’s Head Start Program and student safety in the wake of a number of child sex abuse claims in under way. School CEO Kevin Maxwell is due to testify.
