AFRO BLUE, Howard University’s Award-Winning Vocal Jazz Ensemble in FREE Performance


Tomorrow is your final chance to see Howard University’s award-winning premier vocal jazz ensemble, Afro Blue, perform at Howard this year, and trust us, you don’t want to miss this free concert!

This school year was very eventful Afro Blue. They sang for President and Mrs. Obama at a White House Christmas Party; performed with the New Jersey Symphony Orchestra; won their third ‘Wammie’ (Washington Area Music Association Award) for Best A Cappella Group; released their fourth CD, “Jubilee,” and won three international student music awards.

Come celebrate this banner year with a free concert on tomorrow, April 24th in Childers Recital Hall (Rm. 3001) from 12:40 p.m. – 1:30 p.m.
