Dave Chappelle Joins Chris Rock On Stage In Surprise Stand-Up Duet

Dave Chappelle joined Chris Rock on stage at Rock’s The Total Blackout Tour Saturday night at the Saenger Theatre in New Orleans. This is his first world tour in almost ten years!

The audience was in for a surprise when Chappelle walked on stage after the intermission. Chappelle did about 30 minutes of solo material before Rock joined him on stage. Chappelle touched on topics like Donald Trump, Rock’s Divorce, Chappelle’s Netflix specials, Zika and Caitlyn Jenner.

Sadly, phones weren’t allowed in the venue, so there aren’t any clips available online. Bummer!

After the show the comedians stated:

“Watch The Throne, Part 2. Total Blackout Tour 2017,” Rock later said on Instagram.

“I just realized this might be one of the flyest things I’ve ever been a part of,” Chappelle said during the show. “ The only thing better would be if Eddie Murphy lowered from the rafters.”

Tyra Banks, Rosario Dawson, Comedians Eric Andre and Jeff Ross were some of the stars in the audience at this epic event.
