DC Police investigate a double homicide, no need to search for suspects…

DC Police have not identified the juvenile male and the adult male who killed one another following a fight. The males were found last night at 13th Street and Downing Street in N.E. According to reports the two shot and stabbed one another.

Anne Arundel County Police ended a 7 hour stand off this morning at a home on Central Avenue in Edgewater. The man who was wanted for shooting a man and woman in Annapolis yesterday surrendered without incident earlier this morning. A motive, in this case, has not been given.

The NMAAHC celebrates 1 year…

The National Museum of African American History and Culture is one year old this week. Officials are planning a big two-day celebration. Saturday and Sunday there will be live music, guided tours, and storytelling. There is no cost to attend and the event is open to the public.
