President Obama is pushing to give hardworking American’s a raise…

President Obama is proposing a plan that would increase threshold of when a person would eligible for overtime pay. Under the Presidents plan the salary amount for when workers can be paid time and a half would go from 23-thousand dollars a year to 50-thousand dollars a year. This would apply to employee’s working more than 40 hours a week.

It could be weeks before people can apply for a Government job, this after OPM shuts down a on line security database system…

The Office of Personnel Management has shutdown the on line security database system they use to screen applicants. Officials say the move is proactive, following the discovery of a flaw within the system. It’s not clear how this will affect those seeking employment with the Federal Government.

Free summer lunches for kids in need in Prince George’s County…

If you live in Prince George’s County and your child receives free lunches during the school year, you can now take part in the Summer Food Service Program for free lunch during the summer months. N.J. Governor become 14th GOP to announce a run for the White House…

New Jersey Governor Chris Christie has officially announced that he is running for President of The United States. Christie’s announcement was made earlier this hour from his hometown of Livingston, New Jersey. Christies is the 14th GOP to announce their candidacy.
